Roles and Responsibility Primary Responsibilities Work with limited direction from the TDF Program Leads, lead a matrixed team of system design engineers, system build engineers and infrastructure technologists to successfully deliver multiple concurrent infrastructure changes in a large-scale enterprise environment Meet customer and project objectives by developing and managing project execution functions including planning, tracking, reporting, reviews, quality management and communications, risks, and issues within the construct of the Agile Technology Delivery Framework Predict, understand, and document customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them Manage project schedules, resources, and delivery commitments Delegate, integrate activities, and resolve conflicts Complete assigned projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines Develop and maintain infrastructure and resource cost estimates Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences Interact with and report regularly to the TDF Program Manager, executive project sponsors, and senior technology leadership Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches when appropriate Provide leadership in steering projects toward defined standard infrastructure solutions, platforms and best practices Ensure the infrastructure adheres to the requirements for availability, stability, and efficiency Long and short term product vision from the customer's perspective Prioritize feature for releases based upon customer requirements and team capabilities Write acceptance criteria Write features and user stories Make tradeoff decisions between scope and schedule Rate of production and lead time Initial high level sizing Work with the team to prove technical integrity Remove most bottlenecks Facilitate Sprint planning, review and retrospectives Keep release/project information consolidated, organized and up to date Drive the cross-functional team at all levels Throughput (team velocity) Drive the execution of sprint items Protect team from outside distractions
